Congratulations to Joshua MacTruck McClain winner of our New Years Resolution contest. Hear what Josh is going to spend his hobby year doing!

“Hobby painting resolution.

1.) No longer will I buy hoards of infantry and use the “idgaf” wash technique to paint the all (see dip method).

2.) No longer will I “wing it” and will actually USE the directions when assembling models.

3.) I will not prime models indoors (my neighbors don’t deserve chemical warfare regardless of their taste in music).

4.) Stranger things is not a reason to put of painting.

5.) Pizza and beer is not a reason to put of painting.

6.) New models are not a reason to put off painting.

7.) I will change the water in my brush wash tray at least ONCE in the next 12 months.

8.) I will stop referring to wash as “liquid talent”.

9.) More super glue doesn’t fix model gaps!

Finally….I will try to keep at least one of these because I think my drinking needs curbed and maybe carbs are the devil so that might come first.”

We look forward to sharing a great hobby year with all of you – and get started on those hobby projects I know we have! 😉
