This superbly detailed 1/35th scale model depicts the British Army FV1620 Truck, 1 ton, 4×4 “Hornet / Malkara” that was in service with the RAC Parachute Squadron between 1965 and 1969. The Malkara missile, named by its Australian developers, combined with this specialised armoured version of the Humber 1 Ton vehicle was intended to fulfill a requirement for an airportable anti tank guided missile (ATGM) system. The missile carried a 56lb HESH warhead capable of destroying all known armour of the time (and possibly even AFV’s in service today!) and could strike a moving target at ranges up to 2190m (Mk1) and 4030m (Mk2 depicted in this kit). The missile also had an anti-bunker/busting capability. This model kit features opening hatches on the top sides and rear revealing a fully detailed interior with the three crew positions, radios, small arms and the pair of stowed missiles in the rear. The missile arm has the option of 4 pre-set positions comprising; travel, loading, firing, and firing traversed to the left. The drivers and gunners visors can be opened and the sight rotated accordingly with the weapon system. Extensive, easy to use brass details and decal sheets are included along with full colour instructions. The model also has a roof mounted GPMG and related interior and exterior stowage plus tools and a trio of jerry cans in holders. The master model was researched from multiple sources, and produced by Luke Davis with additional work and preparation for production by Rob Tearle. Many thanks also to Clive Elliot for his valuable assistance with this project.Completed model dimensions (approximate):-Inches/mm: Length 6.25/159, Width 2.5/63, Height 3.75

This set provides the parts and materials to convert an AFV Club Centurion (most versions*) to a Mk3 with the early long hull. This set does not include the AFV Club donor kit, this must be purchased separately.
After successful troop trials during and after ‘OP SENTRY’ with Centurion A41, further recommendations were made that culminated in the Mk2 with one piece cast turret incorporating the 17pdr Gun. This turret and its stowage arrangement gave the shape of what was to become one of the most successful and widely exported tanks. The next logical step was to up-gun to the proven QF 20 pdr. 83.4mm. Ammunition stowage was modified and the gun mounting changed to accept the larger gun.
The master model by Rob Tearle and Derek Hansen contains super-detailed turret and hull fittings, comprehensive and easy to fit etched brass, turned aluminium gun barrel and full colour decals with an easy to follow colour instruction manual for assembly. Based on the AFV club Centurion as a donor kit this great value, easy to build set provides an accurate and unique model of the early stage of Centurion development.
Cam net stowage is provided along with cable drum and smoke discharger mountings for the turret sides, and an etched brass set includes bin padlocks, rear track-guards, drivers visor, wading fittings and other small details.

You will need an AFV Club Centurion kit as a basis for this conversion.

This set provides the parts and materials to convert an AFV Club Centurion (most versions*) to a Mk3 retaining the AFV Club short hull. This set does not include the AFV Club donor kit, this must be purchased separately.
After successful troop trials during and after ‘OP SENTRY’ with Centurion A41, further recommendations were made that culminated in the Mk2 with one piece cast turret incorporating the 17pdr Gun. Ammunition stowage was modified and the gun mounting changed to accept the larger gun. This set uses the hull length that was adopted as a weight saving measure.
The turret had a raised lip with gutter slots on both sides and the hatch arrangement for the loader was later rotated some 160 degrees for the Mk5. The BESA Coaxial machine gun was used that was later replaced with the Browning .30cal MG in the Mk5. The gunners sight was also of the earlier style without the glass shield and wiper of the Mk5.

A set of 1/35th scale waterslide transfers, normally supplied with the Accurate Armour Product which carries the same name. These have been made available by us to customers who find the plastic kit offering somewhat lacking in options and variety. This well researched and comprehensive set of decals will allow you to make a truly individual model of the famous Scammell Pioneer R100. Of course the transfers can be used for many similar vehicles and situations.

The Humber Scout car is perhaps one of the best known vehicles of WW-II, and used in almost every British and commonwealth unit HQ, captured examples were also prized by the German Army. This compact, 3 ton vehicle was fast, and very well armoured with overhead protection too. Made famous as Michael Cain’s vehicle in the film ‘A Bridge too Far’, the Humber is one of the nicest looking AFV’s of all time. This superb 1/35th scale collectors model by Jon Bottomley is very simple to construct and the ideal beginners ‘first time’ resin project which can be assembled in a couple of hours at most. The model features opening hatches, PLM BREN mount, extra stowage and the simple to apply etched brass set also includes scale thickness sand channels.
